Welcome to the French Quarter! The French Quarter is the oldest section of Downtown Charleston, bounded on the south by Broad Street and the north by the City Market. The space was large with great common spaces. The host was very responsive to our various questions. The location was great with lots of restaurants, shops, and coffee nearby,

This is a gorgeous space right in the middle of the action. Everything was perfectly clean and organized, and we enjoyed our stay very much. A couple things to keep in mind are parking and layout of the house. The unit offers only one parking space per party, and this is not directly in front of the building. This makes check in/out challenging. We found a space near the unit’s entrance, put flashers on, and unloaded our luggage one car at a time. Because there were no luggage racks, we took shifts carrying things to the elevator up to the third floor to the unit. Our party consisted of four cars, so this was exhausting. StayDuvet does partner with a local company to help with luggage, but they charge $75 per car just to transport your items in or out of the building. With several cars, this adds up. Also, the unit itself is on three levels, which provides a very cool space where a larger party can stretch out; just keep the stairs in mind if any party members have mobility issues.

Lovely place in the middle of a very cool part of Charleston- we could walk everywhere we wanted and easy to bop in and out of! Place was really pretty, cool historic vibe. Great for 4-6 people or couples. Great common area, beautiful windows and view, and not too loud even though on Main Street. Temperature control worked well. One thing to note that was my only inconvenience is that there is no common bathroom, all 3 are attached to bedrooms. One bedroom is not attached to any bathroom so that person has to awkwardly sneak into other rooms during the night, and when using common area all have to go through bedrooms to use bathroom. Not a huge deal if a close group, but something to note depending on the person!
