Great place to stay. Once in a lifetime location if this is available, don't hesitate to book it parking is a little tricky. I have a 2017 F150 I could only make it through the gate if I close the mirrors. Other than that, no issues recommend backing in.

This was a great location. We were able to walk to all the things we wanted to do. We enjoyed our stay in Charleston.

It is a beautiful historic house from the 1700s in which George Washington's meals were literally cooked. As such, there are some inconveniences. It's not constructed with modern comforts in mind. However, the house has some flaws that the owner could easily address: - The internet connection is bad. Virtually unusable - It does not appear that hot air comes out of the upstairs vents (mitigated with a space heater, but only one for two bedrooms) - Pealing paint is likely leaded, so beware for small children Outside of these three things, it was a great place to stay. The off-street parking was appreciated and I imagine the courtyard would be nice during a warmer time of year. There are alternatives nearby that I think are a better deal, unless you are dead set on staying at historical venue.
