This is a house located in the entertainment district of King Street! Please keep this in mind when booking, as those sensitive to noise might prefer somewhere quieter.

Check-In Time: 4:00 PM Check-Out Time: 11:00 AM Cancellation Policy: 100% refund (minus service fees) if canceled more than 30 days prior to the day of check-in. A 50% refund will be honored if canceled between 7 and 30 days prior to check-in. No refund will be provided for any bookings canceled less than 7 days prior to check-in.

Overall, it was a good experience. The property had off-street parking and it was in a great location. The space was clean. There were a few significant issues. Most important was the lack of security, The main door on the street had an electronic dead bolt lock, but there was no strike plate and the wood around the deadbolt was not solid. I think I could have pushed it open by leaning on it. This was important because there were always people hanging around outside the door smoking or waiting in line to get into the bar downstairs. Another door at the top of the stairs didn't lock without picking up the door to get it to align. Even then it was not a secure connection, easy to get in. The mattresses were bad. All were badly worn and sloped to the center. I slept on the couch, which was quite comfy. One of my kids, in their 20's, complained of a sore back because of the mattress. Lastly, it's upstairs from a very popular live music venue. The bands played until almost 2AM and it was like I was in the bar with them. That didn't bother me much because I was in the bar listening to the band much of the time and the music was great, but it may bother you if you don't want to stay up until 2AM.

A great spot for our 10th annual brocation. We played lots of pool in our downtime, watched a soccer match, and of course took many trips into the Charleston day and nightlife! Very accessible and walkable in downtown.

great location. very walkable to charleston museum and popular spots and bar strip (aka king street). would recommend would only not that if bars are still open when going to sleep you can hear it extremely clear throughout the apt due to the location.
