Welcome to the Eastside! The house is located in the quiet neighborhood of Eastside, away from the hustle and bustle of the main tourist areas. You’re still within walking distance of Charleston’s main attractions but you’ll be able to return to a peaceful neighborhood at the end of the day. It’s an up-and-coming part of town that has new restaurants and bars popping up on every corner! Some of the local eateries will be Mercantile & Mash, Rappahannock Oyster Bar and Taco Boy! Just a 15-minute walk from the house is upper King Street where you’ll find plenty of exciting bars, gourmet restaurants, and unique shops to visit. This popular area is a great place to start your adventure.

Policies

There are long-term leasers that live in the upstairs apartment that are aware that there might be guests at any time, so please be mindful of them and they will do the same. Noise is HIGHLY monitored and will quickly notify guests if it becomes an issue.

Check-In Time: 4:00 PM Check-Out Time: 11:00 AM Cancellation Policy: 100% refund (minus service fees) if canceled more than 30 days prior to the day of check-in. A 50% refund will be honored if canceled between 7 and 30 days prior to check-in. No refund will be provided for any bookings canceled less than 7 days prior to check-in.

Stayed here with my husband and four littles and had a great time! We only used the car once to get to Sullivan's Island, otherwise walked everywhere! It was a short walk to the aquarium and King street, even when pushing a wagon with 4 kids! There's a great oyster bar and coffee/breakfast place literally across the street definitely worth visiting! It was in a relatively quiet area but close enough to still feel a downtown vibe. The house is old, but pretty well maintained. It seemed a bit drafty, so recommend bringing slippers and blankets during the winter months. The kids loved the little golfing green in the back, and we all had fun putting together the puzzle they have available! Definitely recommend staying here, we'd stay again!

My girls and loved our trip to Charleston! The VRBO was great and our host was very thorough in details concerning our stay. Everything in our rental was great - especially the comfy beds!
