Welcome to the Eastside! The house is located in the quiet neighborhood of Eastside, away from the hustle and bustle of the main tourist areas. You’re still within walking distance of Charleston’s main attractions but you’ll be able to return to a peaceful neighborhood at the end of the day. It’s an up-and-coming part of town that has new restaurants and bars popping up on every corner! Some of the local eateries will be Mercantile & Mash, Rappahannock Oyster Bar and Taco Boy! Just a 15-minute walk from the house is upper King Street where you’ll find plenty of exciting bars, gourmet restaurants, and unique shops to visit. This popular area is a great place to start your adventure.

The only bad thing I have to say is the parking was pretty frustrating. It’s street parking and is first come first serve so if there’s not a parking spot near the Airbnb you have to walk quite a bit. Other than that, we had such a great time and the hosts were very responsive and helpful. We loved the environment and the house was beautifully and creatively decorated. Was the perfect stay for our girls weekend.

My partner and I stayed here for a quick overnight getaway and loved it. I was a bit hesitant with the rate & it being further from downtown but it was so worth it. I'd recommend this booking to anyone! It was a lovely place, well kept & homely feel. Everything was comfortable, clean, little touches like coffee were great and very appreciative that the shower got hot. The neighborhood was fine and we loved Bar Rollins & Tobins Market being downstairs. This place is a quick & cheap Lyft ride downtown but has closer, walkable options too. We also appreciated how easily it was to park and how quiet the night was on a weekend! I'd definitely stay here again. The hosts were also very responsive.

My boyfriend and I wanted a nice little getaway for the week and came across The Jumpshot. This place was AMAZING and I am super picky about where I stay. This place was a short (10-15 min) walk to downtown and a short drive to any beach. As stated in previous reviews, you can hear patrons of the bar downstairs but by 10:30/11 it’s nice and quiet. We will definitely be staying here again on our next trip to Charleston!
