This house is perfect for a family or group seeking a fun, culinary, and cultural vacation. Popular dining spots in the neighborhood include The Tippling House Wine Bar,The Ordinary, Xiao Bao Biscuit, Fuel, Bistronomy, Barsa, R Kitchen, Chubby Fish, Pink Cactus, Chasing Sage, Elliotborough Minibar and the Warehouse for drinks. Our guests and neighbors also rave about Brown's Court Bakery and Sugar Bakery located nearby. We recommend going to Babas for a cup of locally-roasted coffee and their delicious cookies and cakes. The house is only a short walk from the very popular King Street where you will find a multitude of great shops – including antique shops and fashion boutiques – as well as an endless list of buzzing restaurants. The apartment is definitely in a prime location. It’s in a walkable area, so my friends and myself would walk to the coffee shops (there are a few options) in the mornings. It was also a really easy/quick drive to downtown and the touristy areas in general. The apartment is just the right size for a small group of people and has a really lovely homey feel. The only con (unless you prefer it) are the beds are a little hard. But other than that, we enjoyed the beautiful wood floors, the pretty large shower, and (our fav) the outside porch. Last but not least, I want to point out that despite this being near college students (can see them hanging out on their porches), it was pretty quite at night and the place seems to be insulated since we never heard our neighbors. I would definitely stay here again, as well as recommend this location to others.
