The house itself gets 5 stars without a doubt! It was spacious, clean, comfortable beds and everything was very clean. The hot water was an issue. Only one bathroom/shower got hot water and that would last about 3 minutes until it ran ice cold. Maybe not a big deal for some, I don’t care for cold showers. The location is good as far as being centrally located. Almost every place we visited in and around Charleston was within a 20 minute drive. The neighborhood is a bit on the rough side and there’s a lot of people outside in the evenings and things get pretty interesting and very loud. It’s definitely not in a neighborhood/area where I would feel safe walking around and exploring. If you don’t mind being confined to the house when you’re not driving around to other destinations then it’s a very nice house and a good value for the size and space. Great kitchen stocked with lots of tools for cooking at home!

Unsafe location. Not a great place to go with kids. A lot of traffic and noise at night. There was no hot water we had to take cold showers. Bugs in the bathroom. Lastly, the host didn’t take my concerns seriously and instead stated he has ran the property for years without any problems/concerns.
